1 . Diane Arbus (1923-1971)

Diane Arbus was an American photographer and writer noted for black-and-white square photographs of "deviant and marginal people or of people whose normality seems ugly or surreal. Diane Arbus and her husband began his career in the world of photographers in a commercial and fashion photography . In a short time they became husband and wife too successful , even for Vogue magazine also display their work . His success continued through the 1960s but , after fighting a personal challenge he committed suicide in his apartment in New York City

2 . Eve Arnold (1912-2012)

Eve Arnold photographed many of the iconic figures who shaped the second half of the twentieth century, yet she was equally comfortable documenting the lives of the poor and dispossessed, “migrant workers, civil-rights protestors of apartheid in South Africa, disabled Vietnam war veterans and Mongolian herdsmen. Eve Arnold is one of the famous portrait photographer sat until now . He is known for his photographs of celebrities which she portrayed and perhaps the best known and most horrendous when it is his photographs of Marilyn Monroe and Jackie Kennedy . Eve Arnold almost stepped age 100 years ( 1 century ) but 3 months before the birthday - 100 he died in London .

Jerry N. Uelsmann is an American photographer, and was the forerunner of photomontage in the 20th century in America. Jerry Uelsman made a name for itself by creating a composite image is almost perfect at the time there was very little technology available that can allow . He creates surrealistic portraits solely by virtue of their expertise in a dark room .

Although still alive today , he has not switched to digital equipment in his work and still feels most comfortable bringing his ideas to life using the traditional methods . Uelsman was never afraid to express himself in his own way and is a great inspiration to follow your own direction in art portrait photography .

4 . Sally Mann

Sally Mann

Sally Mann is an American photographer, best known for her large black-and-white photographs—at first of her young children, then later of landscapes suggesting decay and death. Most of the work of renowned portrait photographer has been directed by love and passion . Best known for capturing the daily life of children in times of natural and their most vulnerable , Sally Mann believes in using photography to explore what it means to be human and how the innocence we left behind when we grow up .

5 . Boubat Edouard (1923-1999)

Edouard Boubat referred to as ' the photographer of peace ' by poet Jacques Prevert . He was a poet with a camera . His work is part of the great tradition of photography that once existed in France which include renowned masters as Brassai , Bresson and Doisneau . He also is quoted as saying , " My favorite picture is the last picture I ever made " . He died in Paris , France in 1999 .

6 . Yousuf Karsh (1908-2002)

Yousuf Karsh, CC was an Armenian-Canadian portrait photographer. There is no list of famous portrait photographers would not be complete without the legendary photographer included. Unlike most of his colleagues who made his name famous with various controversies on him , luck or clever marketing tactics , there is no doubt that Yousef Karsh rise up with strength , skill and talent are unmatched. With famous works such as the portrait of Winston Churchill that go down in history , Yousuf Karsh remains one of the inspirations of the most famous photographers famous portrait that has the talent and incredible skill to date

7 . Phillipe Halsman (1906-1979)
Phillipe Halsman

Philippe Halsman was a Latvian-born American portrait photographer. Philippe Halsman has produced several of his works in the world of portrait , which is best known in the 20th century . Her picture was the model Constance Ford against the flag States of the Americas used in advertising campaigns Victory Red Elizabeth Arden lipstick . In addition , his " jump " which is described as the screen legend Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe jumping like school children in the air . He died in New York in 1979 by leaving a variety of inspiration for us all .

8 . Dorothea Lange (1895-1965)

Dorothea Lange

Dorothea Lange was an influential American documentary photographer and photojournalist, best known for her Depression-era work for the Farm Security Administration. Dorothea Langemerupakan one street photographers who take pictures of people unemployed roaming the streets who have major depression . The photos that migrant workers are often shown with a caption that displays a number of words of the immigrants themselves . Dorothea Lange died of esophageal cancer in 1965 .
